Type Pulse is built around a simple yet powerful workflow: Write → Research → Post. At its core, it provides AI-assisted writing and rewriting to help you draft new text or refine existing material with ease. Designed with an inline editing principle, Type Pulse lets you edit directly on the editor canvas without switching to separate dialogs or windows. This streamlined approach prioritizes speed and context, ensuring you stay focused on your document’s flow while the AI delivers context-aware suggestions that enhance clarity, tone, and style consistently across all your content.
1 AI Writing Workflow
1.1 Open AI Writer
Launch AI Writer using one of two methods:
Press Space on a blank line.
Press / on a blank line and select AI Writer from the list.

1.2 Select an AI Model
Choose from over 10 state-of-art AI models (Claude, Gemini, Grok, GPT, DeepSeek etc.).
Different models produce different outputs, so experiment to find the best fit.
Note: Some models use more credits (e.g., Claude 4 is currently the most expensive).
1.3 Enter Your Prompt
Tell the AI what you want to write.
Thinking Mode (AI Agent switch) is enabled by default—this consumes more credits but allows AI Agents to use MCPs. Turn it off for simple instructions.
1.4 AI Autocomplete
AI Autocomplete helps you write faster by predicting and suggesting text as you type.
Press Tab – The AI will generate an autocomplete suggestion for your text.
Learns your style – Adapts to your writing habits over time for smoother flow.
Choose from 5 AI suggestions – Use the left/right arrow keys to browse options.
Press Tab to accept a suggestion
Press Esc to dismiss all suggestions
Flexible settings – You can turn it on or off anytime in Settings.

1.5 Use an AI Agent
If you’re unsure how to prompt the AI, select an agent from the Agent Marketplace.
Agents are preconfigured with MCPs, allowing them to access external data, resources, or perform specific instructions automatically.

1.6 Add or Customize AI Agents
Click Use Agent in the marketplace to add it to your Agent list.
Edit custom agents: rename, modify descriptions, change models, or adjust instructions.
Create new agents from scratch to match your unique writing style or workflow.

2 AI Rewriting Workflow
2.1 Highlight Text
Select any sentence, paragraph ( Cmd+A ), or all content ( Cmd+A+A ) to improve.
Click Rewrite with AI button or Use Cmd+J to open the rewrite option list.
2.2 Give a Rewrite Option

Enter your own prompt to rewrite or simply select a quick command in the list:
Improve writing – Improve clarity, grammar, and readability.
Improve structure – Reorganizes paragraphs and sections for better logical.
Polish sentences – Enhances word choice, clarity, and overall writing quality.
Make it shorter – Condenses content by removing redundancy while preserving essential information.
Summarize it – Creates concise versions that capture the main points and key takeaways.
Fix grammar – Corrects spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
2.3 Apply AI Suggestions
Review the AI’s proposed rewrites, then click Accept or press Enter to update your content.
To revert to the previous version, press Cmd + Z (Undo).
To view the rewritten result again, press Cmd + Y (Redo).

3 Tips for effective inline editing
Use the “Replace” option when you need to swap a word or phrase quickly; the editor will suggest synonyms and keep the surrounding grammar intact.
Combine with copy‑paste – If you’re importing text, paste it first, then use inline editing to tweak it in place.
Keep your cursor close to the text – Inline editing is most fluid when you stay within the same paragraph or sentence.
